Q: My translator makes a beeping sound but nothing appears on the screen?
A: A) Check to see if you pulled out the battery protective strips. B) Check if all of the batteries are good. C) For the speaking models, use the enclosed red tool to press the reset for all that do not have this tool,open a paperclip and push it gently into the reset hole on the unit.

Q: I do not hear any voice on my talking translator?
A: A) Make sure your translator is in the translator function (word or phrase). B) Make sure your volume control knob is set high. The knob is on the right side of your translator. C) Be sure you have a talking translator. We also manufacture non talking units.

Q: I am having trouble setting the date, time........ Can I call customer service for assistance?
A: Please call between the hours of 3:30PM and 5:30PM EST.

Q: I set the date but the day is incorrect?
A: You may be setting up your unit in the European format. You have to set it up in the MM/DD/YY format. Try reversing the Month and Date and then after you press enter press the letter "A". The talking units can be set by going into the setup section and making sure you have it set MM/DD/YY.

Q: My screen looks scratched?
A: Most units will have a thin film covering the screen. You can peel this off by starting in any of the corners. This is only a protective film to protect the display in travel to you.

Q: How long is the warranty on the unit?
A: All Lingo products carry a 1 year limited warranty.

Q: Where do I send the unit if it needs repair?
A: A) First call 1-800-697-4825 to be sure it should be returned. B) If the unit has to be returned send it to: Lingo Corporation Repair Dept. 1225 East 14th. Street Brooklyn, NY 11230 C) Return the unit via U.P.S. , U.S. Mail or any other method. Be sure you insure the unit as well as send it registered. We are not responsible if the unit is lost in transit.

Q: How long is the turn around time for a repair?
A: Most units will be returned within 3-4 business days.

Q: I want a refund for my unit?
A: If your unit was purchased from Lingo Corporation, we will refund you. If it was purchased at any other location, you have to return it to that place of business.

Q: Where can I purchase Lingo Products?
A: There are many locations where you can purchase a Lingo Product.
